3.8 Given Question
What is more important: the actions of individuals or the environment that influences them?
I think the surrounding environment is more important. People are born with no emotions or thoughts at first. When I see this, I think that the environment in which they are placed as they grow up is what affects them.
In fact, it can be seen that in Korea, there is a saying that goes, 'Don't follow your friend to Gangnam', so it is affected by the surrounding environment. When I'm alone, I'm holding on to my reason, but as the number of people around me increases, it becomes difficult to think rationally.
When I observe children in adolescence, they act by 'collective intelligence'. I can also be said to be one of the people who has experienced the case firsthand. In the second year of middle school, I got out of school and wanted to eat delicious food other than school meals. So I once crossed the school wall without my teacher's knowledge. At that time, I had friends who were seducing me. If it weren't for the friends around me at the time, I would never have done such a thing alone. There are many examples of these. When you look at juvenile criminals, no student has committed a crime alone. You can see that you are with your friends.
Looking at these various cases, I think it is the environment that affects us more than the individual.
