ERICA campus

If you look at the campus as a whole, it's a well-made campus. The reason for this is that first, there are benches or terraced seats in the lake park, so there is a good space to talk or rest while looking at the lake. In addition, there is an appropriate shade, so it is a space that people use a lot. In addition, trash cans are also provided in the right place, so a clean environment is created by not indiscriminately throwing away trash.

Second, students can eat or lie down on a mat at a grass park next to a sports university. In spring, there is a cherry blossom road right in front of you, so it is a place where many students gather. Lastly, there are many landmarks such as Agora Square in the main gate, Lion Statue in front of the main building, and Hayang Garden, making it easy for people to meet in certain places.

However, despite being in the most accessible space in the school, the Democratic Square in front of the welfare center tends to attract almost all students into the welfare center because there are not many places to sit. Although trees or grass are slightly laid down, you cannot feel that they are harmonized with nature in the space. It feels somewhat artificial and empty.

Sculptures in Democratic Plaza are also small in size and have no merit, so they do not mix well with the space. It would be nice to install more sculptures and benches that can become more landmark and to create a more nature-friendly environment in Democratic Square. In addition, while the school site is very large, the floating population tends to be concentrated and not widely distributed in only one place. Therefore, it would be better to create more space for students to take a walk and rest by creating something like a trail in a space that is not used well.
