5.3 design a good street
I wanted to create a street where nature and architecture are in harmony. I think the street that many people visit is a good street. In order to accommodate many people, a big parking lot is needed first. Accordingly, we have set up many crosswalks. When various people gather, there can be many problems as well as traffic jams. The street has many trash cans and traffic light, a sun shield, all over the place in preparation for all of this. I also made a cycling way because it is a street in front of the sea and it would be nice for various people to spend their leisure activities. Through the cycling way, people can take a safe walk. Since there are an apartment complex and a school on the right, my goal was to create a safe street where people can enjoy leisure activities comfortably with their family or friends. According to Whyte's theory, a good street should be a place where people can stay comfortably and enjoy various activities. In many ways, the street have described follows Whyte's theory. There should be various spaces for various kinds of activities, and this street includes spaces for various activities. Located in front of the sea, it has a cycling way where people can enjoy their leisure activities, a large parking lot, and a crosswalk, so it is easy for various people to use. There should be a space where people can get together, communicate, and interact. This street is creating a place where various people can gather and do activities. The apartment complex and the school are located so that people can spend time comfortably with their family and friends, and the crosswalk and the cycling way provide opportunities for people to interact with each other. Also, we need an environment where people can operate safely. Taking this into account, the street is creating a safe environment by placing trash cans, traffic light, and sun shields. In addition, the cycling way has been used to provide a safe space for people to walk. The size and ratio of the buildings and spaces should be appropriate. The street has a human scale and ratio because the buildings and spaces are naturally harmonized.
