On days when I try to live without technology, I take time to jot down my thoughts, feelings, and experiences in notebooks.
On days when I’m trying to live without technology, I think choosing to disconnect from social media, entertainment devices, and non-essential apps can lead to fewer distractions and more focus on real-life relationships and activities. and household appliances used for cleaning, such as washing machines and vacuum cleaners. However, basic communication equipment, necessary transportation are indispensable, as well as some household appliances, such as refrigerators. Because they ensure safety, health and basic needs for daily life. By gradually reducing my reliance on detachable technology and finding alternative activities such as reading, outdoor sports, and crafts, I feel I can live a more fulfilling and meaningful life while maintaining quality and safety.
My analysis is that modern life is significantly different from that of the 19th century. Today, we are surrounded by advanced technology and convenient infrastructure, and access to information, transportation and communication have become faster and more efficient than ever before. Advances in medical technology have greatly improved human life expectancy and quality of life, and educational and career options have become more diverse. However, life in the 19th century was simpler and slower-paced. People relied on natural resources and manual labor. Social interaction was mainly through face-to-face communication, and entertainment was mainly based on reading, outdoor activities and crafts. Although modern life is more convenient, it is also accompanied by problems of information overload and reliance on technology. Life in the 19th century was more characterized by closeness to nature and interpersonal interaction.
In this experiment, I tried living without modern technology. Without the distraction of technology, I find that I am more able to focus on current activities and feel inner peace. I think this helps reduce stress and anxiety and improves overall well-being. And I can have deeper human interactions. Through face-to-face communication, I can understand others on a deeper level and enhance the depth of my relationships. I think it was a very valuable experience.
