A.Merchants gather to buy and sell goods, and it becomes a gathering place for people to trade and communicate. From ancient times to the present day, there have always been places for merchants to gather and sell their wares, as well as to record the history of the past and to educate and showcase it to future generations.
Today, few societies remain with formalized classes, though the concept of servants may exist in a customary or hired form. In ancient times, people were limited in what they could access or do based on their class, but in modern times, everyone is largely in control of what they want to do. Towards the end of the video, we see Lucius and his family members throwing up. At the time, the only thing they could do when they were sick was to throw up and hope that it would make them feel better, but today, we have the medical knowledge to determine why they are throwing up and the medical technology and systems to provide them with the proper diagnosis and treatment. Furthermore, the knowledge that can prevent outbreaks is also common.
