Q. Related to the previous question, Which 3 photos from that list you think are most impactful for you and why?
I think these 3 photos are most impactful for
me.
The first one is 1850s, "valley of the shadow of death". I picked this one because when I was young, I wanted to be a war correspondent. So it was quite impactful for me. When I first saw this, I was hesitated about round things. I just thought like this "Isn't that a skull?? ??" Actually, it were cannonballs.
The second one is 1860s, "The Scourged Back". when I first saw this, I think its kinda 3D artwork like idol musicvideo. However, it was 1860s, human cannot implement those things. I finally realised that was a scar. We saw the whipped enslaved man, actually knew the reality of slavery at that time.
The last one is "Atomic Cloud Rises Over Nagasaki". I picked this one because Korea and Japan have Diplomatic issues about nuclear. It's a history that shouldn't be repeated in case of war and nuclear. Also, it was impactful in case of our class, military technology.
